Morocco takes part in the 2020 Edition of the annual festival of the Francophonie which opened on Saturday in the South African capital Pretoria, with the participation of several countries.
Thus, a Moroccan stand was set up by the services of the Embassy of the Kingdom in Pretoria, offering visitors the opportunity to discover the traditions of the Kingdom in a friendly setting.
On this occasion, a Moroccan cooking workshop was organized for the benefit of many visitors who came to discover the delights of the kingdom's thousand-year-old culinary art.
The Moroccan stand, which was very crowded on this opening day of the festival, also offers visitors the opportunity to get to know Morocco’s tourist attractions and the vast structuring projects carried out in many regions of the Kingdom.
Morocco’s participation in the Francophonie Festival is of particular importance, all the more so as it highlights the image of a developing and modernizing Morocco. The event also offers the opportunity to highlight the diversity of Morocco’s culture and civilization.
The month-long festival will be marked by the screening of three Moroccan films: "Murmures de venus" by Ghizlane Assif, "Aya va à la plage" by Maryam Touzani and "Margelle" by Omar Mouldouira.
The Festival, which is in its 11th edition, is held with the participation of more than 30 French-speaking countries and organizations represented in South Africa.
