AMCI Agreement

The Attijariwafa bank Group and the Moroccan International Cooperation Agency have decided to combine their initiatives within the framework of a strategic partnership intended to promote excellence on an African scale. This rapprochement between the two institutions reflects their desire to actively contribute to the development of the continent through structuring actions oriented towards the development of young people’s skills, their education and their professional integration.

This partnership agreement is fully in line with the implementation of the main axes of the Royal will which advocates the creation of synergies around the support of African youth, which constitutes an invaluable wealth for the continent.

The Attijariwafa bank Group and the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation have the firm conviction that African companies must support young people by allowing them to fully play their role as a real vector of development and growth. This is why the two establishments have set up a collaborative agenda that will allow them to structure their joint actions around improving the capacities of young people, namely:

  • The development of the professional integration of young foreign students, scholarship holders of the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation through recruitments made within the Attijariwafa bank group in Morocco for a period ranging from 12 to 36 months, at the end of which , the talents join the various subsidiaries of the Group in Africa;
  • Internship hosting of foreign students, scholarship holders of the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation within the Attijariwafa bank group in Morocco;
  • The development of synergies around the “Morocco-Alumni” platform launched in December 2019 by the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to identify experienced talents on a continental scale;
  • The creation of an intellectual dynamic among students with the organization of support workshops, conferences and round tables on topical themes on a continental scale.

Several actions are also planned within the framework of the partnership agreement which will allow the Attijariwafa bank Group and the Moroccan International Cooperation Agency to create a positive dynamic around the rise in skills of young people and the development of their professional skills.
