The prestigious South African think-tank, Brenthurst -Oppenheimer Foundation, gathered its Board of Directors from October 18 to 21 in Essaouira in the presence of Mr. Jonathan Oppenheimer.
Considered as one of the most influential institutions on the socio-economic scene of the African continent and currently chaired by Mr. Olusegun Obasanjo, former President of Nigeria. The Brenthurst Foundation brought together for 3 days in Essaouira more than twenty personalities from the foreground among which the former President of Liberia, Mrs. Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, the former President of Sierra Leone, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma.
As a prominent member of this Council, Mr. André Azoulay, Advisor to His Majesty the King, participated in the meeting in Essaouira. The Meeting of the distinguished think-tank which will conclude on October 21st included on its main agenda two priority themes namely "The emergence of the African continent as a future actor within of the Community of Nations "as well as Support for African economies which have favored "a reform strategy to consolidate and sustain their growth."
